Wednesday marked the first day of absentee voting.
People can get their voting done early by visiting their respective county board of elections. You can vote early, up until 2 p.m. the day before the polls officially open. The Allen County Board of Elections will have special hours to accommodate voters. Director for Allen County, Kathy Meyer, said absentee voting varies by each election. She said there has been a lot of interest in absentee voting for this mid-term election due to the positions that are on the ballot
