LIMA, OH (WLIO) - There are a variety of business loans available to help entrepreneurs start or expand their businesses, and an upcoming event hopes to shed some light on what's available.
The State Bank and the Rhodes State College Small Business Development Center are teaming up for the "Access to Capital Lunch & Learn" on May 7th. The event will provide small business owners and people looking to start a small business with information about the different loan programs that are available to them.
"We have representatives from the State of Ohio Department of Development and a representative from a CDC out of Columbus, a community development corporation out of Columbus that covers our Lima area. And then SBDC (Small Business Development Center) will talk about their information and the way they educate small business entrepreneurs also," says Andy Farley, Lima Market Executive, State Bank.
Featured speakers include Jerome W. Jones, SBA Lender Relations Specialist; Shaundretta Boykins, Ohio Department of Development; Ana Assis, Economic & Community Development Institute Columbus; and Nicole Scott, Director of SBDC Rhodes State College. The May 7th event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rhodes State College Borra Center, Room #103, 8 Town Square, Lima, OH 45804. Lunch will be provided. Email Charitie.Toland@YourStateBank.com by Monday, May 6th to RSVP.
