LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â Next Saturday, you'll have the chance to meet other gardeners and go home with something new for your own garden.
Activate Allen County will be hosting their vegetable and fruit plant swap at the South Jackson Community Garden. Participants bring a start or plant of any fruit or vegetable in good condition and will receive a number to exchange it for something another local gardener brought. It's also a good way to meet people with a shared interest.Â
"And if you maybe don't have the greenest of thumbs, join us, talk to some other gardeners, learn some tips and some tools to make your season a healthier and a more flourishing one in your garden," said Josh Unterbrink, the co-director of Activate Allen County.Â
The plant swap will be on May 18th at 9 a.m. at 200 S. Jackson Street.Â
