LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Allen Lima Leadership group got a unique tour and vision for downtown Lima today.

Members of the ALL team were led by director Matt Childers as well as president and CEO of economic development Dave Stratton and Good Foods company founder and president John Heaphy. The group toured the new Spring & Main building led by Heaphy and got a sneak peek at the new businesses inside, which include the new Casa Lu Al, Nonno's Cellar, and Vista Tacos, along with the 3rd-floor space for Rudolph Foods R&D department.

After Spring and Main, the group toured the Central District and other newly minted areas of downtown to show the vision of revitalizing downtown Lima.

"You know this is one of the special days in Allen Lima Leadership for the entire year. To get this unique tour of what the revitalization of downtown and what is happening in downtown Lima. I think the main thing is that these are the emerging leaders; these are the decision-makers that are gonna be making the decisions and leading our city and our county for the next couple of decades, and as a result, they're the ones that are really gonna benefit from this, and so are their children," said Matt Childers, executive director of Allen Lima Leadership.

The Spring & Main building is set to open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 8th.
