Henderson, KY (WLIO) - A former escaped Allen Correctional Institute inmate has pleaded guilty to charges he was facing in Kentucky when he was caught in May of 2023. Those charges stem from his capture in Henderson, Kentucky after he and Bradley Gillespie escaped the prison by leaving through the trash. Lee was captured after they crashed a stolen car during a chase in Henderson. Gillespie ran following the crash and drowned while on the run from law enforcement. Lee was in Allen Correctional Institute for burglary, breaking and entering, safecracking, and the 8-year sentence from Kentucky will be served following the remaining time he has left in Ohio and any additional charges he is facing for the escape in Allen County.
