OHSVCA volleyball poll: Ottawa-Glandorf rises to No. 6 in D-V, New Bremen nearly unanimous at No. 1 in D-VI

COLUMBUS — The latest Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association state polls were released this week, with several area programs climbing in the rankings.
In Division V, Versailles jumped three spots to No. 5, Ottawa-Glandorf surged from No. 11 to No. 6, and Anna entered the poll at No. 19.
Division VI saw New Bremen strengthen its hold on the top spot, adding six more first-place votes to remain nearly unanimous at No. 1. St. Henry and Parkway swapped positions, while Coldwater climbed two spots to No. 4 and earned a pair of first-place votes. Tinora slid to No. 7, Patrick Henry held steady at No. 10, and Marion Local checked in at No. 11. Crestview and Minster each dropped one spot.
In Division VII, Leipsic remained No. 2 behind a dominant top-ranked Tiffin Calvert, with Russia and Fort Loramie holding firm at Nos. 3 and 4. Kalida rose to No. 8, New Knoxville came in at No. 11, and Ottoville made a big jump to No. 14. Miller City, Ayersville and Lehman Catholic followed at Nos. 15, 16 and 17, respectively, while Pandora-Gilboa entered the poll at No. 20.
The updated rankings highlight the strength of west and northwest Ohio programs as postseason play draws closer.
