LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — With spring in full swing, garage sale season is kicking off — and the Bradfield Community Center is getting in on the action.
The event will feature a variety of sellers offering all kinds of items, with proceeds benefiting both participants and the Bradfield Center.
On Friday, April 18, the center will host a large community garage sale on its outdoor basketball courts. The event will feature a variety of sellers offering all kinds of items, with proceeds benefiting both participants and the Bradfield Center.
“It’s a Bradfield community garage sale,” said Tesha Banks, program director at the Bradfield Community Center. “So it’s funds that are going back to the Bradfield Center. And of course, we always have things that we want to utilize them for. So this is one way to kick that off to start.”
Banks said there’s still time to participate. Those interested can show up before 9 a.m. to secure a spot. The cost is $15 for one table or $20 for two. If weather becomes an issue, the sale will be moved indoors to the gym. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
