LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Charity Car Show is hosting their 20th annual car show on June 28.

The car show will go from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Apollo Career Center, and is open to all vehicles, including trucks, jeeps, golf carts, and motorcycles. The event will also include numerous raffle drawings, food trucks, craft vendors, and a model car show. Proceeds from the event will be donated to various nonprofits and charities.

Organizers say the event has been able to grow over the last 20 years because of community feedback.

"We started off raising money for band boosters up at Lima Senior years ago and it's just grown so big. We get such good feedback from the community we want to donate locally too, as much as we can. Most of the charities in this area don't get the donations that they need," said John Waller, board president of the Charity Car Show.

No preregistration is needed to participate, and the first 100 vehicles will receive a commemorative dash plaque.
