LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – For nearly two decades, one area car show has been celebrating people’s love of cars while giving back to the community. The annual Charity Car Show will take over the parking lot at Apollo Career Center on Sunday, June 29.
In addition to showcasing cars, the event will feature food trucks, a 50/50 drawing, raffle prizes, activities for kids, and more. Last year, about 250 car, truck, and motorcycle owners proudly displayed their vehicles to the public. The Charity Car Show board presented checks to six different nonprofit organizations in 2024, and organizers hope the community will come out again this year to support their mission.

“Five of us on the board that do this, and when tons of volunteers and all of us enjoy it. We don't necessaril, I'm not looking for recognition. We just like to do something good for the community. We need more of that in this area, just for people to have fun together,” says John Waller, Charity Car Show.
