LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - With spring upon us, the City of Lima is encouraging residents to think big when it comes to their spring cleaning.

The dates have been set for the Mayor's Spring Clean Up but they are looking for groups, organizations, or businesses to host a site. That would involve having at least four people and location where a dumpster can be placed. The goal this year is to get different neighborhood locations from around the city to participate.

"Whether it's getting all the trash off the streets by hosting a dumpster, doing beautifying projects around the city, whether it's at a church or some other organization or maybe a resident's house," said Angie Rex, code enforcement manager for the City of Lima. "Maybe you have an elderly resident that just needs some help around their house and that's a project you want to take on - it's a good feeling to make an a positive impact."
