DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) — Delphos is gearing up for one of its biggest weekends of the year.
The 68th annual Delphos Canal Days kicks off Thursday and runs through Sunday. This year, the weekend begins with a “Toast to the Town,” a ticketed event featuring local restaurants, wine and live music. Main Street will host food trucks, carnival rides and live music all weekend long. Festival organizers say Canal Days is a great tradition, and they’re proud to keep it going strong.
“I know, growing up we always looked forward to Canal Days coming. We've got a pet parade, fishing derby, chalk art for the kids, kids tent, rides, food vendors — just a little bit of everything,” said Michael Mesker, entertainment chair for Delphos Canal Days.
