LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - It was a hair band kind of night in Lima as Dokken rocked the amphitheater and Pangle Pavilion on Thursday night.
The heavy metal band came to town for the "Heaven Comes Down" tour, supporting their latest album released in 2023. Dokken also played some of their hit songs from the 1980s, including "Breaking the Chains" and "In My Dreams," much to the excitement of their long-time fans. A special appearance was made by guitar icon George Lynch, who served as the band’s lead guitarist for 12 years. The next stop on Dokken’s tour will be on Friday in Illinois.
