DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) — Downtown Delphos was bustling Thursday afternoon as three community events came together to draw residents and visitors to the city's business district.
The Delphos Farmers Market celebrated its ninth year alongside a Health and Wellness Expo, with the day capped off by a downtown business block party. One organizer described the combination as a "trifecta" of meet-and-greet events.
The festivities began on a rainy note, but the weather quickly improved, allowing about 30 vendors to showcase their products and services while highlighting resources available throughout the community.
Downtown businesses also joined in the celebration, lining Main Street with sidewalk sales, promotions, raffles, games and giveaways for shoppers and families.
“Delphos is a one-stop shop. The block party puts the owners face to face with the consumers. They can get to know each other, letting the customer know they are there for them,” says Lindsey Lane, Executive Director, Delphos Chamber of Commerce.
