HARROD, Ohio (WLIO) - Sunday was Father’s Day, and with some nice weather, some families decided to celebrate on the golf course.

Instead of getting their fathers a physical gift, they chose to spend it on the fairway. For some families, it's a tradition to hit the links when the weather permits. For many dads, it wasn’t about the competition or final scores—it was just about spending quality time.

For some families, it's a tradition to hit the links when the weather permits.

"It's something we like to do on Easter and Father's Day, and it's just something to come out and do together. I mean, anytime you can spend time with your kids and just have that personal time together, it's good," said Bryan Finfrock, father.

"He means a lot. It's just a hobby we both love, and we get out here a lot more than Father's Day. So it's just a nice thing to do. Get to some nicer courses. It's just nice to let him know we appreciate him and have some fun while doing it," said Dawson Finfrock, Bryan's son.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads—thank you for all you do.
