LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The City of Lima is continuing its efforts to support small businesses by offering a four-part entrepreneur series designed to help business owners build stronger, more successful businesses.
The series will cover planning, financial management, marketing, and risk management — all essential skills for growing and strengthening a business.
“This series is really the foundational pieces for an entrepreneur or a business owner,” said Amber Martin, coordinator of Workforce and Small Business Development. “So we will be looking at the fundamentals of starting a business, the basics of financial management, risk management for your business — you want to be prepared for anything that might pop up — and then also marketing.”
The series is free, but participants are asked to pre-register on the City of Lima’s website. Sessions will be held at the Lima Public Library on Sept. 18 and 25, and Oct. 2 and 9, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
