LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A local healthcare facility was recognized for its exceptional care.

Grand Lake Home Health and Hospice in St. Marys received national recognition from WellSky based on patient satisfaction survey results from patients and families. The facility also earned internal recognition through its Customer Service Program with the "CARAT" award, which is given to departments that achieve outstanding scores in patient satisfaction.
"We definitely deserve this award, and that is purely because of the people we hire here at Grand Lake Home Health and Hospice. I mean, they are class A. They are so intelligent and kind; their personality is just; they mesh with everybody. With that being said, you can teach anybody to do anything, but you can't teach people how to treat people. That we just naturally have, from everything we have in this community," said Jaime Quellhorst, director of outpatient nursing services.
