LIMA, Ohio - Lima Central Catholic High School is proud to announce that Ms. Bonnie Brunelle has been selected as a recipient of the esteemed Golden Apple Award, presented by the Diocese of Toledo. She is one of only nine educators across the Diocese to receive this honor in 2025.
A 1998 graduate of LCC, Ms. Brunelle is completing her fifth year as a dedicated member of the LCC faculty. Known for her passion, creativity, and commitment to student success, she exemplifies the values and excellence that the Golden Apple Award recognizes.
Ms. Brunelle joins a distinguished group of LCC educators who have earned this honor in the past, including Mr. Eric Kuhlman, Mrs. Barb Schmiedebusch, Mrs. Nancy Bronder, Mrs. Deb Schenk, and Dr. Rosalyn Liston.
The 2025 Golden Apple recipients will be formally recognized at a special banquet in Toledo on May 27. Each honoree will receive a $5,000 cash award and an engraved Golden Apple in appreciation for their outstanding contributions to Catholic education.
LCC congratulates Ms. Brunelle on this well-deserved recognition and thanks her for her continued dedication to shaping the hearts and minds of our Thunderbirds.
