LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - A Lima man has once again been deemed incompetent to stand trial in Allen County Common Pleas Court.
28-year-old Kevin Stahr was indicted in 2021 on one count of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault after he allegedly stabbed his mother multiple times with a knife. Stahr, who was not present in court, has been receiving treatment at Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare in Columbus. A six-page report from Dr. Kelly Conn, a psychologist, cited Stahr's intellectual disability and mental illness make him unfit to stand trial.
Under Ohio law, Stahr's competency will be reviewed every two years. His last hearing in 2023 also determined incompetence.
