LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man has been indicted on 58 sex-related charges involving a young girl and has waived his right to a speedy trial.
The trial for 45-year-old Sonny Cobb has been scheduled for August. He was indicted on 39 counts of rape, 17 counts of sexual battery, and one count of gross sexual imposition. According to the indictment, the alleged offenses began in 2011 when the girl was around 5 years old and continued until 2024.
Cobb is currently being held in the Allen County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
