LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - With these cold temperatures, water mains have been in need of thawing.
The City of Lima Utility Fields Service crews are actively responding to several frozen water mains. Lima is currently managing over 500 miles of water mains, providing service to many accounts.
If your property has a history of frozen water lines, allow your water to trickle at a steady stream. If you have a frozen pipe, use a hair dryer on low heat to thaw the pipe. Never use open flames.
