AMERICAN TWP., Ohio (WLIO) - A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Ottawa Road and North West Street just before noon on Friday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by Bailey Terry of Lima failed to yield at the stop sign on Ottawa Road. The truck made a left turn and pulled out in front of a Ford Taurus heading North on North West Street.
The collision sent the Ford Taurus off the road into a nearby cornfield. The driver, James Zerkel of Columbus Grove, was transported to St. Rita's with minor injuries.
