LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Some small business owners in the area got their tax questions answered. One Million Cups and the city of Lima partnered for their Acquire event on Thursday.
This exclusive event for entrepreneurs connects them with like-minded professionals and gives them a chance to gain valuable insights from one another and from professionals to help take their business to the next level. They had Chris Fast, a city of Lima tax administrator, provide insight on what they can expect this tax season.
"We're collaborating with the city of Lima, One Million Cups is, and we're having the city of Lima tax department come in and just talk about some of the tax things that small business owners need to know. Make sure that they stay out of trouble. Make sure there's nothing that they do wrong in that instance, just so they can continue to be a compliant business, and they can continue to stay up and running," said Darren Bass II, organizer with One Million Cups.
If you are interested in attending the next Acquire event, they are held quarterly. So be on the lookout for the next one in June or July.
