Malik Morris has pleaded not guilty on the charges of Felonious Assault and Assault for causing physical harm to an employee at the Allen Correctional Institute.
The incident happened in June of this year. Morris was found guilty of assaulting a person at ACI back in 2017, he was sentenced to 36 months in prison for that crime. He is also serving time for Robbery and Abduction charges from Lake County. His pretrial is set for November.
