On football Friday nights, you'll see teams in our region with stickers added to their helmets in support of Vince Koza. The stickers say "Koz" and it has a cancer ribbon in the middle. Nearly 7,500 students will display the stickers in almost 70 schools. Vince was diagnosed with kidney cancer last month and has started treatment. The beloved sportscaster has been covering the Limaland teams for more than three decades and the schools want to support the person who has supported them all those years.

"When you're in this battle sometimes you think you're there by yourself," Ric Stolly said, the man behind the idea. "The people, to tell Vince just how many people, not only jumped in with both feet but went and got people involved as well, I'm sure would mean a lot to him. It's something that didn't surprise me."

Stickers have started appearing in the communities and maybe heading to nearby colleges next.
