Area law enforcement get grants to get or upgrade body camera for their officers

Columbus, OH (WLIO)- Ohio announced another round of funding for law enforcement to get or make upgrades to body camera systems. Findlay got $91,926.81 to help start their program. The Lima Police Department got  $107,184.00 to add to the system that they are currently using. The New Bremen Police Department got $24,125.00 to upgrade their body cameras and the Putnam County Sheriff’s office got $77,636.20 to make improvements to their system.  A total $4.9 million was awarded to 112 law enforcement agencies statewide from Ohio’s Body Worn Camera Grant Program.
