It's no secret it's been hot and with the heat comes cooling bills.
Whether it's fans or air conditioning, it all takes electricity and electricity isn't cheap. The West Ohio Community Action Partnership is encouraging qualified applicants to apply for their Summer Crisis Program. WOCAP may be able to provide a one time assistance with your electric bill July 1st through August 31st based on the availability of funds. Individuals age 60 and older, along with individuals with a documented chronic illness that meet certain guidelines, may be eligible for this assistance. WOCAP also has some air conditioners available if you meet requirements.
