The Bob Evans Lima facility is expanding by adding another production line to their plant.
The president of the Allen Economic Development Group, Jeff Sprague says the plant is currently working on an expansion for a 4th production line. Bob Evans purchased the Kettle Creations facility in Lima in 2012 with only 2 lines. Sprague met with the plant manager who says they'll continue to put money into this facility as a key part of their strategy and growth. The company also committed to adding more jobs in the process.
Sprague doesn't have an exact date of when the expansion will be finished, but he says they'll be making a lot more mashed potatoes.
