The national health care organization is currently in the midst of a preventative Alzheimer's trial. "Care Access" works to bring these trials that are usually done in major city hospitals to smaller communities to include people who may not be able to participate otherwise. As the word has gotten out about the Alzheimer's trial they have received many inquiries about its status.

"It's in phase three right now so it is on that last leg where we want to do some last research with several thousand people to see, get it test approved and then also get a clinical drug approved and then the next step is FDA approval," said Adah Ellerbrock, patient access liaison.

There will be two informational meetings on Wednesday, August 10th at the UNOH Event Center (1450 N Cable Rd, Lima, OH 45805) that you can choose from. There will be a 1 p.m. and a 5:30 p.m. session.
