CELINA, OH (WLIO) - A 40-year-old Shane Chilcoat of Celina pleaded guilty in Mercer County Common Pleas Court to sexual battery and pandering obscenity charges involving a minor. Chilcoat was arrested in September after he was indicted on 19 charges including multiple counts each of rape, sexual battery, and gross sexual imposition.
Celina detectives investigated allegations from three separate underage victims. Chilcoat was also labeled a Tier III Sex Offender and must register his address with the sheriff's office where he is living for the rest of his life.
