SIDNEY, Ohio (WLIO) - The city of Sidney has released police dashcam footage of a high-speed pursuit over the weekend that ended with one man dead and a woman injured. Please be advised that the footage may be disturbing to some viewers.

According to police, 25-year-old Tre’Sean Clemons of Kettering was driving a 2021 Dodge Durango that led Sidney officers on a chase throughout Shelby County. Around 4 p.m. Saturday, Sidney police were notified by the Ohio State Highway Patrol that the Durango’s license plate was connected to an armed robbery and felonious assault in Montgomery County and had been detected by a license plate reader.

Officers located the Durango at the Clark gas station on West Michigan Street in Sidney. As soon as officers arrived, Clemons fled westbound on State Route 47, reaching speeds of up to 120 mph.

On West Cardo Road, Clemons went off the left side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll several times before it came to rest in a field. Clemons was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, 19-year-old Aaliyah Davis of Piqua, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
