BATH TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) - "Relay for Life" brought the Bath community together while delivering an important message.
Bath Local Schools hosted its annual "Relay for Life" walk Tuesday afternoon, an event brought to life thanks to the help of students and staff. The organization's mission is to remember those who lost their lives to cancer and collect donations toward cancer research—a cause that hits close to the Bath community.
"We've had our own unfortunate, really high numbers in Bath of with students who have battled this awful disease, and our community is just really good at rallying together and providing emotional and financial support for the families. I think that's something to be really proud of—it makes me proud to be a Wildcat," said Lori Griffiths, EMIS coordinator.
If you missed this year's event and would like to donate, you can visit the American Cancer Society's website at https://www.cancer.org/ for more information.
