CRIDERSVILLE, OH (WLIO) - It's that time of the year again, and the people of Cridersville were more than ready for this year's trick-or-treaters.
Many in the village take Halloween very seriously, and it shows when you walk by all of the costumes and decorations they've prepared for trick or treat. The local library, police department, and firefighters also join in on the fun handing out candy every year.
We spoke to some trick-or-treaters on Main Street to find out what they dressed up as.
"I am part of the SWAT team. I have patches, guns, and a ton of pockets," said 12-year-old Joshua Lee.
"It's just a football jersey. I'm supposed to be a football player because last year I played football but this year I didn't," said 11-year-old Cayden Shaffer.
"I did cheer at WG, Waynefield-Goshen Elementary School, for cheer camp for a week. And it was really nice, so I decided to be a cheerleader," said 10-year-old Jayci Satterfield.
All three trick-or-treaters added that their favorite part of Halloween is the candy.
