Congressman Jim Jordan called for an investigation of former FBI Director James Comey and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
On July 6th we spoke to Jordan and he tells us Comey misled the American people twice, a year ago when he called the Clinton investigation a "matter" when it was an investigation and he knowingly misled the people at the direction of former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch and when he lied about President Trump being under investigation when he wasn't, which was the subject of a senate committee hearing last month.
Jordan says the Justice Department is supposed to be square and honest with the American people and they failed to do so.
"I mean I thought he should've been fired along time ago but he gets fired and then he decides to leak a government memo through a friend in the New York Times with a stated objective being to create momentum for a special counsel and of course not just any special counsel but his good friend his mentor his predecessor Bob Mueller so that is not supposed to be how things happen and even Dianne Feinstein Democrat Senator from California says we should have hearings and look into this issue so we called for hearings," says Congressman Jordan.
According to the Washington Times, Jordan has also said he is skeptical of Special Counselor and a friend of Comey Robert Mueller's credibility after his inability to answer questions relating to the IRS targeting conservatives in 2013.
