Crossroads of Northwest Ohio provided an update on their Cridersville Project on Wednesday.
The update was provided at the Shawnee Optimist Club during their beginning of the year meeting. The project will bring a new neighborhood to Cridersville right next to I-75 and have restaurants and retail stores, living spaces, parks, and an entertainment district.
The group states that they recently went to a convention in Las Vegas that helped them connect with big-name businesses to gauge their interest in setting up in the development. A focus on local businesses will also be important to the project.
"We would like to have a big local presence in the development as well," said Josh Bloomfield, project director of The Crossroads of Northwest Ohio. "Get kind of those initial talks, we've reached out to a lot of our big box retail, we have engaged with them, we have our architectural design standard which really kind of tells the story and vision of the development."
Updates on the project can be followed at crossroadsofnwo.com.
