Delphos Man Who Shot His Wife Makes Initial Appearance

     The Delphos man who turned himself into police on Thursday confessing he shot his wife, made his initial appearance on Friday in Lima's Municipal Court. 43-year-old Patrick Collar, took Delphos Police to a corn field off Jones Road, where his wife laid. 42-year-old Jerri Collar was found deceased of an apparent gunshot wound.

     During his initial appearance, Collar was charged with murder. The Allen County Sheriff says they have recovered the weapon that Patrick Collar may have used. The sawed-off shotgun was found with the serial number partially filed off. The sheriff's office believe the shotgun was stolen by Collar earlier.

     Bond was set at $1 million. His next appearance has been set for Wednesday (August 20th).
