Doors open to The Springs of Lima

The Springs of Lima is about ready to open its doors.

The assisted living and health care facility welcomed many to a ribbon cutting and tour of the facility. Located on Eastown Road, the two-year project cost approximately 17 million dollars. The facility offers a variety of services including long term or short term care, assisted living and memory and health care. The state of the art building has a therapy gym for rehabilitation, fully-furnished suites with private bathrooms, and Legacy Lane memory care. Those in attendance included city and county officials.

"What makes our facility, out here, unique and why we chose to build out here is we offer multiple levels of services, so people can transition, any kind of care need can be met," said Randall Bufford, President, and CEO of Trilogy Health Services. "But more importantly because we've been in Allen County, Lima since 2006, it's kind of like home for us."

Possible plans to expand for independent living has been discussed, but Bufford wants to get this facility in a groove first.
