Mercy Health-St. Rita's honored a man for his commitment to the community.
Dr. John Snyder was awarded the 41st annual Mercy Club Award. Over the years he has served on several boards. As a professor at the Ohio State University Lima, he has also helped students progress in their academic career. He believes it's very important to serve the community.
“The best way to serve them is to learn where they are and what can benefit them so that’s all part of being a professional and it’s part of my DNA,” said John Snyder, Mercy Club Award recipient.
People who have supported the Mercy Health Foundation were also honored.
