With Thanksgiving just days away the West Ohio Food Bank wants to make sure everyone has food for their holiday meal.
An onsite emergency food pantry is being held tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26, 2019. The pantry will provide a three to five day supply of nutritious food including fresh produce, proteins, dairy, and shelf-stable foods.
Linda Hamilton the Executive Director of the West Ohio Food Bank says it’s their mission to make sure everyone has access to food. “There has been throughout November a lot of opportunities for individuals to be able to get food and with the holiday coming up we want to ensure everyone has food ready for Thanksgiving and for the weekend.”
To get food, you just need to go to the West Ohio Food Bank between the hours of 4 to 6 p.m. tomorrow(11/26/19). They are located at 1380 Kibby Street.
