LOS ANGELES (AP) — Britney Spears has entered a substance abuse treatment facility. A representative says Sunday that the 44-year-old pop star voluntarily checked herself in. Spears was arrested over a month ago on suspicion of driving under the influence. California Highway Patrol officers received a report on March 5 about a driver in a black BMW driving erratically in Ventura County. Spears took field sobriety tests before being arrested. She was released from county jail hours later. Investigators turned the case over to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office on March 23. Charges may be decided before her court date on May 4.

A royal statement Sunday said that Donaldson died in Hobart, the capital of Australia's Tasmania state. It said that his health had been declining over the past few years, and that the queen last visited him at the end of March. Donaldson was born in Scotland and was a professor of applied mathematics. Mary became Denmark’s queen in January 2024 after two decades as crown princess when her husband became the Scandinavian country’s monarch. He was proclaimed King Frederik X following the abdication of his mother, Queen Margrethe II.

NEW YORK (AP) — The rapper Offset has been released from the hospital after being shot outside a Florida casino earlier this week, a spokesperson said. Offset was shot Monday night following a fight at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, just north of Miami. “Offset has been released from the hospital and he is up and walking,” a representative for Offset said on Friday. The rapper shared his own statement on social media Friday as well. He said that is he good and focusing on his family and his recovery. “Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win,” he wrote.
