Press Release from the Mercer County Sheriff's Office:Celina, OH -Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reports the arrest of 3 individuals on drug-related charges during a HIT Operation (Heroin Interdiction Team), on Thursday, January 12th. The HIT Team is made up of members of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and the Celina Police Department. St. Henry Police Department also assisted.
The HIT Team made 6 traffic stops, issued 5 written warnings, and 2 traffic citations.
The following people were also taken into custody on drug-related charges:
Katie N Schlarman, 31, 1517 Mary Lane Celina. Schlarman was arrested for Possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument a Misdemeanor of the First Degree.
Darryl H Mann, 62, 537 Touvelle Street Lot 62 Celina. Mann was arrested for Possession of Drugs and Felony of the Fifth Degree.
Tyler M Franklin, 22, 310 W Wayne Street Celina. Franklin was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine a Felony of the Fifth Degree.
All were incarcerated at the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility. The cases have been forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for review and filing of formal charges.
