The Allen County Educational Service Center and the Apollo Career Center hosted the Allen County College Fair Tuesday evening at Apollo. Representatives from around 20 colleges, universities, trade schools, and military branches participated and answered any questions about their organization's majors, programs, the admissions process, financial aid, campus life, and possible career pathways. For many, figuring out the next steps after high school can be stressful, and the college fair helps gives families a way to learn important information.

"We have 20 different organizations here, and there's a lot of students that finish up their high school careers and they're not really sure what they are going to do with the rest of their lives or where they are going to college or they are going into the military or trades, so we just thought it would be an excellent opportunity to give students and their parents to come out here and explore what options are out there for them once they finish high school," says Brad Clark, Director of Gifted/JDC Programs, Allen County ESC.

Representatives were also available at the fair to help guide families with the FAFSA process and the College Credit Plus program.
