Cameron Elwer breaks Allen County scoring record in win over Versailles

DELPHOS (WLIO) — Delphos St. John’s remained unbeaten Friday night, pulling away from Versailles for a dominant 71-34 win.
The Blue Jays took control in the second half and never looked back, stretching the lead to double digits as the pressure mounted on the Tigers. Jackson Wiechart and Tyce McClain helped fuel the surge, while Versailles got scoring from Drake Ahrens and Camden Ahrens in the second half.
Cameron Elwer led St. John’s with 19 points and made history in the process, surpassing Jamar Butler as Allen County’s all-time leading scorer. The win keeps the Blue Jays perfect at 16-0 on the season.
