Honoring veterans at the Pork Rind Heritage Festival

The Village of Harrod will be honoring American heroes during this year's Pork Rind Heritage Festival.

For 28 years the Harrod community has been celebrating the past and the pork rind at their annual festival. There will be all sorts of activities, music, and of course food.

The big focus of this weekend is the veterans. There are helicopter rides that will start Saturday at 9 a.m. and at 1 p.m. they will be re-dedicating the Veterans Memorial Park. It's was 20 years ago that they built the park to honor all veterans and it's something that they want to continue for future generations.
