With the warmer weather, many fishermen are looking to get out to local fishing hot spots.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be making their annual stop at Schoonover Lake next week. On Thursday, April 11th they will be stocking the lake with hundreds of trout. Dozens of people turn out for the dump and Lima Parks and Recreation has a few reminders for you.
"You're allowed to take five trout out of the lake that day, you do have to have a fishing license if you're over 16 years of age, and again we couldn't do this without ODNR stepping up being a partner with the City of Lima," said Randy Kohli, Chief Park Ranger.
The time for the release has not been determined but we will keep you posted.
