It's almost time for the Good Friday Fish Fry

It's their signature fundraiser and it's just days away.

The Ottawa River Coalition is gearing up for the 17th annual Good Friday Fish Fry. The event raises money to help with their mission to understand and protect water quality in the Ottawa River watershed. The fish fry attracts nearly 1,300 people out to eat. However, the fish fry is not the only way they are raising money Friday.

"But we also feature a silent auction and so our friends and partners have been very generous with us. We've got everything from Cedar Point tickets to state parks package, local county parks packages, the mayor Berger is donating homemade spaghetti sauce, and county commissioner Jay Begg is donating homemade maple syrup and honey," explained Beth Seibert, Coalition Coordinator.

The fish fry is from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Allen County Fairgrounds. Dine in or carry out for only $9.00.
