LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Restore is reaching out to the public to come in and get to know them.
They are hosting the 12-days of Christmas offering sale prices, raffle tickets, and even free holiday movies and popcorn. It’s all in an effort to become acquainted with residents to see if tree is anything they can help them with. The Re-Store is affiliated with Habitat for Humanity, and they are expanding their efforts to start rehab projects at some homes in addition to single-home builds.
Restore manager Benji Bergstarnd explains, “It just makes too much sense if they are in a home that could be a good home for them with a little work. It makes too much sense to keep them in that home in that neighborhood that they know.”
He says they will be focusing on roofs after the first of the year. Profits from the sale of items at the restore go toward Habitat for Humanity projects.
