LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The Lima Community Foundation celebrated 60 years of philanthropy with a major announcement at a location it helped bring to life.
The foundation announced it will award $60,000 in grants, divided among three community priorities: the arts, youth programming, and a direct $20,000 contribution to the Lima Community Aquatic Park. The celebration was held at the aquatic park, a facility the foundation helped spearhead through fundraising and endowment support.

“It’s such a special place to us, because we do feel a part of bringing this to Lima, and it’s just an incredible facility. We wanted our donors and our fund holders to be able to see it firsthand. So it’s the perfect place for us to do this celebration,” said Robin Frazier, executive director of the Lima Community Foundation.
The foundation’s next grant cycle opens Monday, Sept. 29, with applications available online. For more information, visit their website.
