Local church distributes coats, gloves, and scarves

One local church is taking their ministries from inside the walls of the house out into the community.

Residents at the Lima Towers getting the chance to pick out a coat, scarf, or gloves provided by Savior's Grace Ministries. This is the first time the church has held a coat drive as an outreach project and enjoyed ministering to those in attendance.

"I'm hoping to do anything that we can do, like I said, to be an asset to the community. We want to build our community up, we want to be a present force in the community, we want people to know that God's love exudes beyond the four walls. We want to be whatever we need to be, we want to be able bless those that need to be blessed. We just want to be present in the community and active," said Pastor of Savior's Grace Ministries, Claytonia Manley Logan.

If you are in need of a coat you can contact the church on their Facebook page or stop by at 2021 Allentown Road.
