The Shirley Daley Community Foundation and the Cheryl Allen Southside Community Center have partnered to collect coats and winter wear for Lima residents.
When snow covers the ground and the cold wind blows, the need for coats, gloves, scarves and hats increases. Around the holidays money can become tight, pushing the idea of purchasing a coat to the wayside. The season of giving for some, means a sigh of relief for others.
Gently used items can dropped off at various boxes around Lima through December 28th or can be dropped off at the Cheryl Allen Southside Community Center.
