A Delphos man died as the result of an accident outside of Spencerville.
Lt. Gary Hook of the Allen County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to Sustainable Solutions, at 160 North Defiance Trail. On arrival, they found an unresponsive male that had fallen into machinery. The man identified as 69-year-old Daryl W. Lucas of Delphos had died from injuries sustained. Detectives from the sheriff's office were called to the scene and are investigating the death as an industrial accident.
Spencerville EMS and the Allen County coroner were also called to the scene.
